It's really hard to find good games to play with preschoolers, especially ones that aren't mind-numbingly boring for the loving adults in their lives. After fond memories of Chutes and Ladders as a child, I was truly astounded at how agonizingly tedious that game is for parents.
I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled when Cason received Sequence for Kids at her 3rd birthday party. It's a great little game involving strategy that works well for 3 year olds and 6 year olds alike. We've been playing the game as a family for several years now and still enjoy it. Jack is now 3 and plays to the best of his ability. As Cason gets older she employs more and more strategy to use her Dragon card to take away my winning chip. Despite my best efforts, competitive ol' Mom is foiled again and again much to the giggling glee of my daughter!
